The health and safety of Four Elements Electric employees, trades people working around us and especially the general public is paramount to our operations. Unfortunately, not all safety is common sense. It is our responsibility to ensure we employ an educated staff properly trained in safe and effective work practices. We achieve this by;
- The mandatory orientation of new employees
- Daily hazard assessments requirements
- Weekly toolbox meetings
- An extensive health and safety program
Our knowledge of safety grows with each project we do. We adjust to each job site by working with owners and general contractors to identify and reduce hazardous conditions, we adopt the site specific safety policies and then we lead by example.
In conjunction with our in house safety standards, employees are trained in CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid, Aerial Work Platform and Fall Protection. We are members in good standing with the Alberta Construction Safety Association and the Workers Compensation Board of Alberta. In 2015 we obtained our COR Workplace Safety Certificate of Recognition which further reinforces our commitment to our health and safety program.
